Get in the Act

Website redesign project for non-profit, focussing on structured flow and organized layouts to streamline the overall message.

Objective

Identify an underdeveloped non-profit with a website that is outdated, containing clutter layouts with low readability. Redesign the website, communicating content and meaning of text using organization, hierarchy, layout and grid system skills.

Approach

Get in the Act, a non-profit dedicated to bringing the arts to underprivileged children in the Sierra Nevada area. My approach was to develop a structured layout that is playful and balanced. The design takes on
a bright, artistic style accompanied by typefaces that bring clear readability. Bright colors capture the child centered heart of the company while using active negative space to enhance the appearance of the elements and encourage action.
